We have done away wiith the dreaded [ADD TO TICKET] button in the main window because our customer base hasa insisted on it! We give our customers what they want (usually!) with friendly smiling faces... OK I made that part up about the smiling... but if they have a good request or want a feature added and we think it would be good for the program... we put it in!

The purchase/Download page will be up by MONDAY 8 NOVEMBER 2010. If you have already purchased v7 your upgrade is as simple as downloading the program from THIS site, BACKING UP your data files, and then running install. If you are unclear how to do this please do not hesitate to use the call us feature onn the contact page.

I was transferring some of my last aarchive files off some 5 1/4 inch floppies before I chunked them and I found a BMP or our original Blue Mesa CASH REGISTER program written in the (then) Brand New Quickbasic 4.5.

It was a simple affair... each item was considered a SINGLE and (later) you could modify the number of items... you typed in the price or one of 3 letters and hit enter... It outputted each line to your 8 pin line printer, Thems was the days!

HP POS Issue:
We have been told that the HP POS System printer prints the CONTROL A that we send to the printer to POP the CASH DRAWER... This makes us sad!
Absolutely cannot comprehend why it would do that but we have whipped up a little test application to try on your HP POS system. (Anyone else NOT using an HP POS Printer can try it too!) App is available for download:

http://www.bluemesapc.com/Downloads/HP-POp001.zip
About 19kb that unzips to less than 35kb (yes I write tidy code!)

Unzip it on to your POS and turn on the POS Printer making sure the cash drawer is attached. There are 4 buttons to try to pop the drawer. Please email our SUPPORT or SALES from the contact page if one of them works for you!

Several people have asked for a utility to convert their Blue Mesa rPOS MENU.mdb files from versions EARLIER than 7 up to 7 to take advantage of all the new features and maintain their setup. We have released the DB_MASH7.zip program... small and only needs to be unzipped in to the BM POS AIO directory (can be used with the Client / Server setup as well!) and the old menu database (pre version 7) renamed OLDMENU.mdb then run 1 time!

download from:

About 11kb that unzips to less than 23kb (yes I write tidy code!)

Oh no I can't view your page on my iPhone!?!?!!!

NO!

We have nothing against the iPhone... when it gets more un-Vista like we might even get one...

But we are focusing on our SOFTWARE on these pages more than our HARDWARE (we will continue to sell that on eBay and uBid!

The concept of the page is pretty simple. There is FREEWARE and TRYITBEFOREware and since we are apparently in the business of being generous. We offer you a line of FREEWARE with more features and controls and things like inventory control and the ability to use POS printers or whatnot. And a small line of TRYITBEFOREware which has very cheap Pricing (after all... I have to make mortgage payments too!)

So feel free to click around. You can write to us on the CONTACT page or from any of our question links.

If you do click a CONTACT lin your own email will open to allow you to write the question, comment, or FYI you have for us. Don't forget to click the SEND button in your email or we might never get it.
